2:00 - 5:00PM- Hitchcock Woods Tour for early arrivals. Meet at Stable-On-The-Woods Entrance. Bennett Tucker & Mark Pavlosky will speak on the Restoration and Management of Longleaf Pine Forests, Reintroduction of the endangered Red-cockaded Woodpecker and a 100+ box Bluebird trail monitored by the SCBS.

The tour will require walking 2-3 miles on forest roads with changing elevations. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended. The tour is limited to the first 25 participants. A fee of $5.00 per person will be donated to the Hitchcock Woods Foundation for continued restoration and management of the forest.

6:00 – 8:00PM- Social, compliments of SCBS, in beautiful downtown Aiken at Newberry Hall, 117 Newberry St., SW Cash bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres
